Hey ya'll!
This week went pretty good. We are seeing success and trying our best to keep our zone members focused on their progressing investigators. I really think following up frequently with out zone members has helped in a small way even in it is just to let them know we are thinking about and praying for them. We will definitely continue to follwo up frequently.
Our investigator sah eh haiashi is doing pretty good. She came to church on Sunday but had to leave after the first meeting. we'll be meeting with her on Thursday and make sure to bring someone who speaks Japanese. Her baptismal date is on Christmas! We're super excited for her.
Ruby and Hyden are doing well. It is more likely that they will end up being baptized in America which is definitely a bummer but we are still excited to see them having this desire to change. We'll know for sure this week if they will be getting baptized here or in America. I hope we can see them get baptized here but whatever happens as long as they get baptized and are happy with their decision I'll be happy.
My exchange with Elder Darger this week was probably the best one I've had my whole mission. Out of every missionary I've met on my mission I have the most in common with him. I was super sad to see him leave central zone but he will make a great zone leader in Taoyuan. His motivations for being a missionary are so pure and righteous. He didn't have to be here and had every excuse not to be but he did it anyway and has blessed the lives of so many people. I admire him so much and he will definitely be a lifelong friend.
Elder Braedar is doing his best to push to the end but understandably is really excited to get home. Elder Shelton will do a great job at taking over the songshan and nangang areas this next transfer. He is such a great elder who I've served with for over 5 transfers now. He has grown so fast and his Chinese is great!
My companion and I are really different people and that provides for a ot of opportunities to exercise patience and grow. I've been really trying to just love and accept everyone around me the way they are. That is definitely a lesson I've been blessed to learn on my mission even if it has been a hard lesson to learn. I know God has really tried to help me change and it has worked in many ways.
I love the work and am super excited for a new week and all the challenges that lay ahead.
Love ya'll!
