We are continuing to see the success that is coming from hard work and just loving people plus God. Man I really love Taiwanese people. I really love the people that we are working with right now. I want to see them succeed so much. I've really been trying to pray for them in every prayer that I say and it has helped me focus so much more on their needs.
Paul is just a total boss!!! I kinda tricked him into coming to church but it worked super well! Haha every time he comes to church he absolutely loves it. He'll skip a couple of weeks and forget that though. What we are working on with him is how action increases faith. He has been reading his scriptures diligently and really has felt a difference in his life. He already has stopped smoking as well. He is totally gonna get baptized at the end of the month. He already feels it is all true he just is concerned that he is not going to be able to endure to the end. His environment isn't the best but he has the desire and God has provided some great opportunities for him to change. I am so happy to see him progress. It is so cool because we have nothing to do it. WE're just the tour guides. The Spirit does the rest.
Gin is getting baptized this Saturday! |she really is just a miracle. No other words to describe her. She is the first lady I have found and baptized and seeing her make some changes that were really hard for her has strengthened my faith so much. She is definitely on the pathway to eternal conversion because that's what this gospel is all about! My faith has been strengthened so much because of seeing her make these changes. I love this lady so much I can't wait to see her baptized!
Sister Zhang is also getting baptized! Next Saturday. She has definitely made the biggest changes. I just love being apart of the process of seeing people change. It brings me so much happiness and joy. I think that God made service feel so good so that we would continuously want to do it. I want to do service for the rest of my life because it is the only way that I feel satisfaction. We never know when we have done enough. Basically, if we ever think we have done enough we haven't yet made it. When Elder Holland came to our mission nearly a year ago he told us that we could rely on his testimony because he had given his entire life to God. It really inspired me to want to be like him.
The mission life is great. This experience has changed my life for the better. If I wouldn't have come out I would be a very different person. I'm just grateful that God let me have this opportunity. He saved my life and used me to save others. It's a great feeling. :)
Just love the people around you. Love the Lord. :)
