Hey ya'll!
We had a great week this week. The biggest miracle is that our investigator Gin is ready to be baptized! She has gone 3 weeks without smoking and has come to church for 5 weeks in a row! She is an older lady who has really had a hard life. She is working super hard to change her life around and really feels the love of God in her life. It is so cool to find someone on the street that you know God puts in your path, see them grow and develop their testimony, and then get to participate in seeing them be baptized! I really am so blessed and it really makes me happy to know that God cares about a little old grandma and sent me halfway across the world to help her out. It is really a miracle and it strengthens my testimony in the Savior so much.
Our investigator Zhang jiemei also had a breakthrough this week. I was pondering what we should share with her when all of he sudden the sacrament came into my head. I literally had no idea why we should teach the sacrament because it seemed really irrelevant but then when we taught her she really understood the purpose of coming to church every sunday. At the end of the lesson she said that she wants to come to church every sunday from now on. We were so surprised! But she made the commitment and she also wants to get baptized in 2 weeks! She is such a great lady and has already changed so much we are so excited to get to see her get baptized!
Paul is progressing slowly but surely. We are just hoping he can start putting aside time to attend church. We really believe he can make the changes necessary to live a higher quality and spiritual life. I've never wanted to see someone change so bad! But I hope he can do it!
Super short this week but I love ya'll and I'm having a blast!!! The mission is so amazing and has changed me into a new man. Love the Lord and have fun!
